    What do I need to set up my new business.and I'm located in and operate from Birmingham AL.
    You need Food licensing to register your business, you need licensing. Wholesalers and retailers need a wholesale license also called a seller's permit. To sum up, you need a business license, a seller's permit (if selling merchandise) an EIN and registration of your business name with a DBA, LLC or corporation.
