Hello, I was inquiring about getting a resellers permit. My question is can I simply purchase the permit alone, or does it require me to buy an EIN ext.? I already have an EIN all I need is my Nebraska Re-Sellers Permit so I can go to local wholesale conventions. If you could answer me promptly that would be great thanks again. Some states may require an ein together with the seller's permit. However, when you ordering the permit, the order form will it make it known to you whether you also need an EIN.

Hi Dave, for HANDYMAN, U need a business license and a federal id. If using a business name, u need to file a dba as well and if want to buy without paying taxes from home depot, obtain a sellers permit as well.
